I love solving problems and thinking about ways to enhance the world around us.
I leverage my architecture and leadership training and experience to utilize design thinking to solve problems. Most of those solutions to date have centered around the built environment, but I enjoy harnessing my skills in a variety of ways to tackle a variety of challenges – from processes to trainings and houses to offices.
As a “Jack of all trades, Master of none” type of professional, I have collected a well rounded set of creative, technical, and practical skills in my tool chest, making me uniquely qualified to pivot, learn, and adapt for your specific needs and apply unique solutions to your problem.
I’m also a pragmatist – I love being creative, but I also know that the world works in parameters (personality, time, money, dimension, legal, etc). I’ll be honest with you throughout the process about these parameters, and we will work together to strike the perfect balance between fun creativity and practical solution.
One big thing that separates me from other partners is that I’m virtual – I live in Europe but work anywhere and everywhere. This means I leverage technology to communicate and work digitally with you and others to accomplish our goals. The technology will vary based on what we need to create a successful project, and we will explore this as we dive in.
As I mentioned in “Finding a Partner(s)”, it is important to partner with someone that strikes a balance between professional background, personality, and values.
Most people would categorize me as an energetic optimist. I do my best to look at the brighter sides of life and do so with passion and energy (sometimes coffee induced!). I like to stay healthy with regular exercise (CrossFit mostly) and smart eating habits.
My wife and I were born and raised in the United States but currently live in Germany, affording us the ability to learn about other cultures, solutions, and experiences that help widen our breadth of knowledge for our leisure and professional interests. To that end, we both like to stay active, enjoy the outdoors and traveling as much as we can! It’s important to balance though – so there are plenty of times when you’ll catch us lounging around to recharge after exploring the world.
